Hard to say these words

You were mine, although you never knew.

Maybe one day we will be/

Something else entirely

But as time goes by

I realize that I am holding on to something

That might not even exist.

I am thankful though

To all the moments we shared/

To all the feelings I felt.

You showed me that I can love

That I can hurt

And that my love has no limit.

For that I thank you

And I wish you all the happiness the world can give.
